The Puzzle

Dull pain persists despite the cocktail of medications.

With waning hope, a piece of paper appears in sight. Filled with boxes and numbers.

Neurons fire while a competitive streak flares at heart. Frustration mingled with unbridled joy, with the finish line appearing close.

That annoying dull pain nowhere in sight… defeated by a challenging puzzle.
