This piece is meant to serve as a welcome sign. I recently learned that pineapples are a symbol of friendliness and hospitality, and they can be used as a sign that welcomes people into one’s home. I decided to use this idea and created a pineapple-shaped tooth to represent the friendliness and welcoming nature that I want people to experience when seeing the dentist. Instead of having a fearful association with dental treatment, I want all patients to feel comfortable and relaxed during their visits.
